Hotel No 9

Rooms are nice and clean. The area not so much. There are drug addicts and drunks wandering the sidewalks all evening. I didn’t feel safe at first but after passing with no issues several times they didn’t seem to bother. It’s still an uneasy feeling. It also was very noisy all night with loud cars racing down the road and the drunks yelling.

The location is prime j. That your literally 2 minutes if even from the Guildhall and right by Waterloo St, which is the Main Street for nightlife in the city. In terms of the venue itself it’s great, I’ve stayed there several times and the ease of access once you receive your check in codes is first glass. I would recommend maybe sending out codes by WhatsApp though as I have had some issues in receiving codes via email in the past. In terms of the rooms I could not fault them, the only thing is that not every room has a chair/2. That’s the only improvement I’d recommend.

Would highly recommend , really clean and room very spacious. Location is great and within walking distance to bars and place to eat. The beds were so comfortable. We had booked two rooms and had to cancel one. Maggie was very helpful when I spoke to her on the phone and she emailed me a list of car parks. Weekend parking is busy and with the Christmas celebrations makes it busier again . Will definitely return to stay. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Absolutely great deals on rooms and right in the heart of the city centre. I was out for a Christmas outing with colleagues and had to stay the night so had booked this beforehand. Super easy booking process, all check in formalities were completed online through email communication and got the room access code and other necessary details online one day before the checkin. No problems accessing anything and room had all the amenities for a basic 1 night stay.

Location, great! Service, great! (Don't talk to anyone) and rooms, yep, better than most 4 star hotels. A quirky, well located but perfect place to crash.

Great place to explore Derry. LOADS of bars and restaurants nearby. Free Derry Corner and the Derry Museum only a 5 minute walk away. And a MUST see. We were in rooms 9 and 10 at the front of rhe building. It was pretty noisy, but earplugs were provided. Super comfy bed and a great shower. Perfect for our one night stay. Would recommend.

The rooms are really good for the price. Comfortable and easy access. The city view rooms are noisy due to the street and traffic, but the service phone number was excellent. Maggie sorted us with a quieter room after the first night.

Love that it was contactless. After you check in online, you will receive details of how to get into your building and room prior to your arrival. Straight forward, no frills hotel, decent for the price. It was clean No AC in the room, but having the window open was decent. It is in the middle of town, so it was quite loud at night on a Saturday night. Pillows were surprisingly comfy and supportive though! We didn't have a hair dryer. There was a kettle and some tea available. We had an issue with our shower. We called a few times but no answer. It wasn't until we texted and emailed but someone was able to come by and look into it. We would have preferred just being able to call someone quickly. There is some street parking downstairs but it doesn't allow for overnight parking. There is an open parking lot available super close to the hotel; however, it can become very busy and difficult to find spots.
